At Capital Digestive Care, we are committed to breaking down the barriers to colon cancer screening one-by-one. Over the weekend, several of our physicians and staff members participated in a special Saturday colonoscopy initiative to screen those in our community who are typically under screened and who have difficulty scheduling screenings during the workweek. The event took place at the Chevy Chase Endoscopy Center and Fallsgrove Endoscopy Center, and it resulted in dozens of people receving life-saving colonoscopies. Kudos to everyone who particpated in – and supported – this wonderful event!
