Dr. Sneha Patel, a board-certified, fellowship-trained gastroenterologist, sees patients of varying ages with a broad range of acute and chronic illnesses. For Dr. Patel, the most meaningful part of providing patient care is enabling her patients to feel comfortable expressing their concerns, so they can be open and honest about their health.

Before joining Capital Digestive Care, Dr. Patel served as chief gastroenterology fellow at Montefiore Medical Center, Albert Einstein College of Medicine in Bronx, NY. She has participated in medical mission trips to Peru, where she became proficient in medical Spanish, as well as to a small district hospital in Uganda.

Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her husband, family, and friends, as well as traveling and cooking.
