Sarit Kipnis, MD

Biography

Dr. Kipnis is a board-certified and fellowship-trained gastroenterologist. Her approach to patient care is based on effective, two-way communication with her patients, as well as individualized treatment plans rooted in evidence-based medicine.

Before joining Capital Digestive Care, Dr. Kipnis was a gastroenterology fellow at MedStar Georgetown University Hospital in Washington, DC. She is also an active researcher who publishes articles in peer-reviewed publications and presents her findings at national meetings.

In her free time, she can be found exploring new trails in Rock Creek Park, trying out new restaurants, or chasing after her two young sons.
