Dr. Chandler is a board-certified and fellowship-trained gastroenterologist. He’s a compassionate specialist who takes an evidence-based approach to gastroenterology care.

Before joining Capital Digestive Care, Dr. Chandler spent 13 years in clinical academic medicine at George Washington University and worked as the director of the university’s gastroenterology and hepatology fellowship program.

During his time at GW, Dr. Chandler published peer-reviewed articles, book chapters, and abstracts and was actively involved in training more than 30 gastroenterologists, teaching clinical skills and endoscopic procedures.
