Biography

Kathryn is a nurse practitioner who provides general gastroenterology (GI) care. She is passionate about patient education and instilling autonomy in her patients, so they feel comfortable and supported in making decisions about their care. She aims to treat each patient with respect and compassion.

Before joining Capital Digestive Care, Kathryn practiced as a registered nurse in a wide array of settings, including the intensive care unit, medical-surgical unit, hospice, and long-term acute care. While earning her doctorate of nursing practice, Kathryn served as the Graduate Nursing Service Organization president and received an award for clinical excellence.

Kathryn has two pugs, Stella and Pearl. In her free time, she enjoys lifting weights at the gym and hanging out with her family and friends.
