Capital Digestive Care is pleased to announce the addition of Leila Kissick, ARNP, DNP, to our [city, state] office. Leila is a nurse practitioner with a doctorate in nursing practice who has been in practice since 2014. Before completing her doctorate, she worked as a nurse and spent nearly 20 years as a public school teacher as well.
Leila provides general gastroenterology (GI) care and enjoys working alongside her patients as a team with the shared goal of helping the patient achieve better health. She is very interested in how people’s diets affect their GI health. She works with her patients to make simple dietary changes that can improve health.
Philosophy of care:
“I look at patients as team members. We are on the journey together, and as a team, we can improve the patient’s health. The relationship with patients is of the utmost importance.”
