Capital Digestive Care is pleased to announce the addition of Dr. Sanam Razeghi to our Laurel, MD and Columbia, MD offices.
Board-certified in both internal medicine and gastroenterology, Dr. Razeghi is a fellowship-trained gastroenterologist with a special interest in the following conditions and procedures:
- inflammatory bowel diseases (IBD)
- small intestinal bacterial overgrowth
- irritable bowel syndrome (IBS)
- colon cancer screening
Philosophy of care:
“I was inspired to become a physician to help people and serve my community. My approach to patient care is three-fold: first, I ensure that I thoroughly listen to my patients. Second, I practice evidence-based medicine – meaning I stay abreast of the best available current and emerging scientific research in the field. Third, I explore integrative GI concepts and holistic care when appropriate. My treatment plans may involve dietary changes as well as exercise and mind-body therapies like yoga and mindfulness.”
