Gloria is a certified nurse practitioner who holds a doctorate of nursing practice. Her experience as a clinical nurse in endoscopy and intermediate care inspired Gloria’s dedication to providing exceptional patient-focused care as a provider.
Before joining Capital Digestive Care, Gloria worked at Sibley Memorial Hospital, where she provided perioperative nursing care to patients undergoing endoscopic procedures. During her graduate studies at the University of Maryland, Baltimore, she was honored with the Doctorate of Nursing Practice Exceptional Project Award in recognition of her contributions to advancing healthcare outcomes through innovative nursing practice. In addition to English, Gloria is fluent in Spanish.
In her spare time, Gloria enjoys traveling, reading, and knitting. Over two years, she has visited six countries, including her native El Salvador. She hopes to continue exploring and learning more about the world through both travel and literature.
